Q) My phone isn’t working and the display shows a URL Call is Disabled message. What do I do?
1) Verify that your PC can connect to the Internet. It is possible that you do not have Internet connectivity and that could be the reason your phone is not working.
2) To ensure that the phone connections have not been dislodged, verify that the phone connections are plugged into the back of the phone and the wall LAN jack.
3) If your PC can connect to the Internet and your phone connections are intact, please contact DoubleHorn Communications at 877-637-HORN (4676) for further assistance.


Q) How do I setup and change the voicemail notification option, which sends a copy of the voicemail message to my email account?
For detailed procedures, refer to the Set Email Notifications section (Chapter 2, page 25) of the IPOne Phone System User Interface Guide. In order for this feature to work, your email account needs to be entered in the user interface (UI) (Change Email Account section).


Q) How do I forward my inbound calls to my cell phone or a different phone?
You can set this feature using either your phone or the UI. To set this up using your phone, refer to the Forward Your Calls section (Chapter 3, page 12) of the IPOne Phone System User Guide. To set this up using the UI, refer to the Enable Call Forwarding section (Chapter 2, page 16) of the IPOne Phone System User Interface Guide.


Q) How do I reboot my phone?
You can reboot your phone in one of following ways:
1. Unplug the phone and plug it back in.
2. Depending on the phone model, hold down the following 4 buttons simultaneously for at least 3 seconds:
  • Polycom 301 IP phone: Volume Down, Volume Up, Hold, and Do Not Disturb
  • Polycom 320 and 330 IP phones: Volume Down, Volume Up, Hold, and Speakerphone
  • Polycom 430 and 501 IP phones: Volume Down, Volume Up, Hold, and Messages
  • Polycom 550, 600, 601, and 650 IP phones: Volume Down, Volume Up, Microphone Mute, and Messages
  • Polycom 4000 IP phone: *, #, Volume Up, and Select

Q) How do I mute my phone during a phone conversation?
Press the MICROPHONE MUTE key on your phone. For detailed procedures, refer to the Mute a Call section (Chapter 2, page 9) of the IPOne Phone System User Guide.
Q) How do I mute my phone’s ringer?
You can mute your phone’s ringer by adjusting your ringer volume. For detailed procedures, refer to the Adjust the Ringer Volume section (Chapter 4, page 17) of the IPOne Phone System User Guide.
Q) How do I transfer a call?
You can transfer a call using an attended transfer or a blind transfer. You can also transfer a call directly to someone’s voice mail. For more information about these procedures, refer to the Transfer a Call section (Chapter 3, page 11) of the IPOne Phone System User Guide.
Q) How do I log in and access my extension’s voicemail from the UI? 
To log in to the UI, refer to the Log In section (Chapter 1, page 6) of the IPOne Phone System User Interface Guide. For more information about listening to your voice mail messages, refer to the Mailbox Tab section of the same guide (Chapter 3, page 28).
Q How do I access my voicemail remotely via the phone? 
You can access your voicemail remotely from another phone. For detailed procedures, refer to the Access Your Voice Mail Remotely section (Chapter 5, page 24) of the IPOne Phone System User Guide.
Q How do I view detailed information about missed calls on my phone display? 
You can view missed calls on your phone. For detailed procedures, refer to the View Your Call Lists section (Chapter 4, page 18) of the IPOne Phone System User Guide. You can also access your missed call list from the UI. For more information about accessing the missed call list in the UI, refer to the IPOne Phone System User Interface Guide.
Q How do I use the phone’s conference button to conference in another call? 
You can conference three parties together by pressing the CONFERENCE key. For detailed procedures, refer to the Establish a Three-Way Call section (Chapter 3, page 10) of the IPOne Phone System User Guide.
Q How do I change my voice mail greeting / announcement?
You can personalize your voice mail greeting/announcement. By personalizing your greeting, you can let callers know that you are away from your desk, on vacation, or out of the office. Refer to the Main Mailbox Menu section (Chapter 5, page 24) of the IPOne Phone System User Guide for detailed procedures.
